Microcement is a polymer-modified cementitious coating, 2–3 mm thick, that bonds to nearly any clean, stable substrate. The continuous skin makes joints disappear — bathrooms read as carved stone, kitchen counters as monolithic concrete, floors as polished slab.

How we install microcement.
A controlled, on-site sequence — each stage signed off before the next begins.
- 01
Substrate prep & priming
We grind, prime and level the substrate and fill cracks before any microcement goes down — a stable base is what keeps a seamless microcement floor from failing.
- 02
Fibreglass mesh & base coat
The first microcement coat is trowelled over fibreglass mesh, locking the surface against micro-cracking under foot traffic.
- 03
Build coats
Two build coats are trowelled tight to the mesh and cured overnight, bringing the microcement to a level, continuous thickness.
- 04
Finish coat & colour
The final coat is pigmented to your chosen microcement colour and trowelled to the texture you signed off on the sample.
- 05
Sand, seal & hand-over
We hand-sand to your sheen and seal in two coats of polyurethane — walkable at 24 hours, fully cured in 7 days.

Yes — we install it in fully waterproof wet rooms, including shower trays, walls and the threshold-less continuation onto bathroom floors. The system is fully tanked under the finish.
Not under normal conditions. The fibreglass mesh in the base coat and the elastic polymer in the binder absorb micro-movement. The warranty explicitly covers cracking not caused by substrate failure.
Around 60 standard pigmented shades, plus custom colour-matching to a Pantone, NCS or RAL reference. Two-tone fades and feature-wall accenting are possible.
Most jobs run 3–6 days on site, plus a 7-day cure window before the surface is in full service.
By square metre, all-in: materials, labour, prep and a 5-year warranty. Specialty work is quoted per project.
